Dear Moon,
I'm having this problem with my BFF. We're both twelve years old and we're the best of friends there could be. Although, I have to admit- even if we've known each other since six, we don't have the same opinion in everything. Especially in our interests. She's interested in Home-Economics while I'm the captain of the schools's netball team. ??? Can we be 'best friends'? Anyway, here's my problem: She's interested in this cooking-contest and... well... DRAGGED ME IN TOO!! I kind of shrugged and was like, "Um, okay", because I didn't want to dissapoint her and let her know that... let me whisper... I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO COOK!!! Literally! I don't know how to BOIL an EGG! What the hell should I do?! Please -chokes- help me... XP

First: yes, I'm real (if I'm not, I wouldn't be writing this, duhh!!)
Second... I'm gonna ask YOU a question- you've known her for HOW LONG? 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.. -calculates- ...6 YEARS! And HOW have you survived that ship-relationship from thunderstorms and waves? The point is, you're asking me if you guys are supposed to be called 'best friends' when, in my opinion, you don't have to ask! It's so obvious that if you guys can get together for so long, and you're the 'best of friends there could be'. What?!! My answer is that you don't have to literally have to have the same opinion in everything to be besties- It depends on how close you are. Sure, people say if you have the same opinion in everything with your BFF it's good. I'm not denying it but HOW the hell did you guys became so close? Don't ask me! And if you're best friends, you don't have to keep the I-Can't-Cook secret from her! Tell Her. The TRUTH! If she's your real friend, she might help you to learn how to cook (you're so lucky cuz I dunno how to cook either XD) or, more specifically, RESIGN both of you from the contest! Hey, you call her you 'BFF', she'd do anything for you!!
